All silent auction items will go live at April 25 at 10:00 am. You must have a ticket (in-person or virtual) to bid.

Saddle up and join us Friday, April 25 for the 2025 auction fundraiser, the Gold Rush Gala. We will once again be holding the event at Balistreri Vineyards. The evening will be feature games, activities, and both a silent and live auction with:

  • Donated gift cards, services, merchandise, and lodging from area businesses,

  • One of a Kind Teacher and Staff Experiences, and

  • Unique Class Art Projects

Your ticket (one per person) includes heavy appetizers, an open bar featuring Balistreri wines, beer, signature cocktails, and a fun evening with 300 friends from the WCE community.

We need your support to continue to offer free tickets to WCE Teachers and Staff. Please consider sponsoring a ticket before you check out with an additional donation of $25, $50, $75, or more to cover their costs.

A note about tickets and costs: This year, we will be endeavoring to cover all fixed costs (catering, venue, staffing, and auction services) through ticket sales and sponsorships. By doing this, 100% of your purchases and pledges at the auction will go to Westerly Creek Elementary.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

It takes a village to pull off an event this size, and we need help. Whether it’s donation solicitations, setup and decorating, or helping run games on the night of the auction, there are opportunities for everyone. If you are able to volunteer, please reach out to auction@thewcepta.com

LOOKING FOR CHILDCARE?

Ms. Mosley and Ms. Silk will be offering child care at WCE for families attending the Gala who need a sitter.

This service will be available if at least 40 children are signed up.

Kids will enjoy pizza, snacks, crafts, a movie, and story time. They are welcome to wear pajamas and bring a pillow or stuffed animal.

Drop-off & Pricing:

  • Early Drop-off starting 3:10 - 5pm: $60 per child

  • Drop-off after 5pm: $50 per child

  • Pick-up by 11:30 PM

  • Minimum age: 3 years old (must be potty trained)

CUSTOM HAT BAR POP-UP

No time to shop for that perfect western accessory? No worries, Urban Cowgirl will be on site at the auction with their custom hat experience. (Approx $200. Sales do not benefit WCE).
