This is where the real Wolf Pack magic happens! Every year, we're faced with raising at least $200,000 to keep the amazing learning environment our kids deserve. While we have fun fundraising events throughout the year, we depend on families like yours stepping up and saying, "Our kids deserve this" in order to meet our goal. This year as demands and needs grow, our goal is even higher, $250,00. We are Westerly and we can do this, together! Please come to our event, have fun, make friends, and don’t forget to give a little extra to your child’s home away from home!

Here's what your Annual Fund donation makes possible:

  • Paraprofessionals keeping class sizes smaller

  • Intervention support staff giving kids extra help when they need it

  • Nurse and mental health teams keeping our pack healthy and happy

  • Recess coaches making outdoor time fun and safe

  • Technology, iPads, Chromebooks, and updated classroom tech for every student

  • And so much more!

The real talk: WCE is a public school, and we're proud of that. But all these incredible resources are way beyond what public funding covers. PTAs at other schools in NE Denver raise around $200,000 per year. As the biggest elementary school in DPS, we should hit that number too.

Without the Annual Fund, our kids' school experience would look very different. But when our community comes together? That's when we create something truly special.

  • Yes! Every donation is tax deductible to as a charitable donation to the full extent permitted by law. The WCE PTA is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

  • Of course. Checks should be made payable to Westerly Creek Elementary PTA and can be mailed to 8800 E 28th Ave, Denver, CO 80238. If you’d like a receipt for your donation, or confirmation it was received, please include a note with the check or email fundraising@thewcepta.com.
